Follow The Money
Every dollar of your Tax Deductible Donation goes directly to helping our children. Learn more about where the money goes and why, by reading below.
Player's Equipment
Every year various pieces of team’s player equipment must be replaced for the protection and well being of the student/athletes. The equipment needs range from helmets, shoulder pads, padding, practice footballs, game and practice uniforms, etc. These are critical items whose replacement should be timely and not deferred due to budgeting issues. Some of the equipment may be reconditioned without any concern for safety and are done so routinely. Additionally, each student/athlete receives what is called a Spirit Pack, which is made up of personal clothing for practice, including work out shirts, shorts, socks, and practice jersey.
Team Equipment
Each year there is a need to replacement team equipment which has been worn and torn through practice. These items are prioritized from year to year based upon need. Some of the items are more expensive to replace, such as a blocking sled, keeping the technology up to date for game filming and editing for player and coaches review.
Capital Expenditures
Each year there are needs for larger capital projects than the operating Budget of the Touchdown Club can accommodate. In the past, the Touchdown Club funded the construction and fit out of the Football weight/training room. The Board has taken it upon themselves to work with the Head Coach to determine necessary capital projects. The planning process will cover future years, where funding and needs can and will be met to continue to enhance the Football program at Corona Del Mar High School.
